Sultan ul Faqr VI Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (RA)

Birth
Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali was born on Friday, 14th August 1947 (27th Ramazan 1366 H) at the time of dusk in the town of Samundry, Garh Maharaja District Jhang. His lineage goes back to Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo. His ancestral lineage is as follows:
Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (R.A.) son of Sultan Mohammad Abdul Aziz (R.A.) son of Sultan Fateh Mohammad son of Sultan Ghulam Rasool son of Sultan Ghulam Meeran son of Sultan Wali Mohammad son of Sultan Noor Mohammad son of Sultan Mohammad Hussain son of Sultan Wali Mohammad son of Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo (R.A.).

Childhood & Youth
Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (R.A.) had got the status of “Sultan-ul-Faqr” since Pre-eternity. That is why his sacred face was enlightened with the Noor-e-Haq (Divine Light). He was a blend of beauty and magnificence (Jamal) and was prominent because of his beauty among all of his brothers. It is because of his unprecedented beauty, his father, the mentor used to address him with the appellation “Chan” (the moon).
During his worldly education he also completed his education of “Ain-ul-Faqr” and “Shams-ul-Arifeen” the writings of Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo from his father. After his matric, he adopted the path of Faqr by taking the oath of piety at the sacred hands of his father Sultan-ul-Auliya Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Abdul Aziz (R.A.). After that, he never parted from his Spiritual Guide till his death and accompanied him every moment.

Transference of Trust of Allah
Amanat (The Trust) means Amanat-e-Elahiya (The Trust of Allah), Amanat-e-Faqr (The Trust of Faqr). According to the saints and perfect mystics of Sarwari Qadri Order Amanat means “legacy of Faqr of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)” and who is the heir of “Legacy of Faqr” only he is the possessor of the Trust of Faqr. When the Seeker reaches the destination of Fana Fillah (annihilation in Allah) or Fana Fi Hoo or Wahdat (unification) and on being annihilated in Oneness becomes the “embodiment of Oneness”. He is the Insan-e-Kamil and only he is the Murshid Kamil Akmal.
According to Saad Ameer Khan Niazi (late), keep in mind that this is the Bayat (oath) of transference of the Trust of Faqr. Sultan-ul-Auliya Sultan Mohammad Abdul Aziz, two years before his death took this Bayat from Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali.
Sultan-ul-Auliya Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Abdul Aziz visited the sacred shrine of Shahbaz-e-Arifaan Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Pir Syed Mohammad Bahadur Ali Shah Kazmi Al Mashhadi (R.A.). On Friday 13th April 1979 (16th Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1399 H) he went inside the sacred shrine of his Murshid alongwith both of his. While sitting near the sacred grave and getting Sultan Safdar Ali sat on his right and Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali on his left side putting his sacred hands on the grave of his Murshid placing the sacred hands of his sons upon his own took oath (Bayat). He put his own sacred turban on the sacred head of Sultan Safdar Ali and granted him Khilafat and he adorned the new turban fetched from Shorekot on the sacred head of Sultan-ul-Faqr Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali and transferred Amanat-e-Elahiya (The Divine Trust) and Amanat-e-Faqr (The Trust of Faqr)to him.
This Trust was then transferred to Sultan ul Ashiqeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Najib-ur-Rehman Madzillah-ul-Aqdus.

The Throne of Divine Persuasion and Spiritual Guidance
He had taken over the Throne of Divine guidance immediately after his Spiritual Guide’s death on 13th April 1981. He was a true personification of a perfect Spiritual Guide, Noor-ul-Huda (The Divine Light of guidance) as described by Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo (R.A.) in his books. He is designated at the status of Sultan-ul-Faqr. Sultan-ul-Faqr is defined in the following words in “Risala Roohi Sharif”:
“Their spiritual sight is entirely a Divine Light of Oneness and a magnificent alchemy (process of turning metal into gold). The Seeker on whom fell their glance starts experiencing Divine observation in such a way as if his whole being has become an Absolute Noor (Divine Light). They do not need to put their Seeker into the hardship of doing superficial mystic exercise and the forty days seclusion.”

Beneficence of Ism-e-Allah Zaat
Nobody spread faiz (the beneficence) of Ism-e-Allah Zaat to the extent as did Sultan-ul-Faqr Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (R.A.). According to him, the disclosure of Ism-e-Azam (the Great Name) is essential and its being a secret is unlawful in contrary to the saints or sufis who thought it essential to hide Ism-e-Azam and unlawful to disclose. His whole life passed in spreading the beneficence of Ism-e-Allah Zaat. For this, he visited city to city, village to village to preach Ism-e-Allah Zaat among the masses for Marifat-e-Elahi (the mystic knowledge of Allah). He would grant the invocation (Zikr), contemplation (Tasawur) of Ism-e-Allah Zaat. He says:
 Ism-e-Allah Zaat ( Allah, Lillah, Lahoo, Hoo) is Ism-e-Azam. By whose contemplation, Qurb (nearness) and Pehchan (recognition of Allah) are gained. It is the Noor (Divine Light) which takes the Saalik (traveler) towards Maalik (Allah). The heart in which it is imprinted and gets stability, no secret of the universe remained hidden for him and he became a confidant (Mehram Raaz, Secret sharer) provided, the “Ism-e-Azam” has been received by a Seeker from a Murshid Kamil the possessor of the Name and the Essence (Zaat).
After Sultlan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo, several Mashaikh (Spiritual Guides), Fuqara and Successors of Sarwari Qadri Order have passed, all of them had been granting people merely the first stage of Zikr (invocation) (Allah Hoo) of Ism-e-Allah Zaat. Though, it was only him after Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh who has popularized Sultan-ul-Azkar (The great king of invocations) “Zikr-e-Yahoo” among the masses instead of the selected ones. Though he granted the most special Seekers of Allah Ism-e-Allah Zaat (Essence) made of gold which is a real Ism-e-Allah Zaat.

Kalam/Poetry

At the early stage (from the age of 21 to 25 years) of Sultan-ul-Faqr (sixth) Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh spiritual state when the secrets and mysteries of Ism-e-Allah Zaat were disclosed upon him, the sudden outburst of his feelings for his Murshid Sultan Mohammad Abdul Aziz Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh and Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh uttered from his sacred tongue for their grandeur in Saraiki language is called his poetry. Among these are a “Sei Harfee (a kind of sufi poetry)” said to explain his Murshid’s splendor and a euology (manqbat) to describe the grandeur of Sultan-ul-Arifeen (R.A.) are included. It is comprised of total twelve quatrains (Rubaiyat or dorrhey) from Alif to zey. His poetry has been published in “Guldasta Abiyat-o-Manajat Hazrat Syed Mohammad Bahadur Ali Shah (R.A.)” which is compiled by me the humble person. This book was published by Maktaba-al-Arifeen at the time when I was running it as its head. In his verses include simplicity, maturity, depth, love, devotion and truthfulness. His poetry has the status of a touch stone of courtesy and respect of Murshid for the ishq of the Seekers of Allah.
The poetry he wrote in the grandeur of Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Abdul Aziz (R.A.) is presented here with its explanation in English.
Meaning: O’ my friends come with me if you want to have the privilege of seeing the Light of Allah. The Sparkling Light of Allah which appeared perfectly in the form of Rasool Allah Sall’Allahu Alayhi Wa’alihi wasallam is now shining in the sacred being of my Murshid Sultan Abdul Aziz. Inwardly he is entirely the Light of Hoo and outwardly it seems as if Sultan Bahoo (Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh) has reborn, though in the world he is known by the name of Sultan Aziz. My humble being is mesmerized by him who is infact the Light of Hoo clothed in the being of a human.

Karamat/Miracles
Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (R.A.) did countless apparent and esoteric marvels but only a few chosen ones are presented for the benefit of people.
Malik Safdar recounts, I never requested Sultan-ul-Faqr openly because I believe he knows our inner matters. It had been long enough that my marriage took place and I had no issue. I accepted it as my fate and never thought about it. Once I was appointed at Qaidabad and my Murshid visited me, my nephew was staying with me. He asked who he was. I replied he is my nephew. Then he inquired, do you have no son? I denied. He said you did not tell me. I answered Hazoor nothing is hidden from you. On it he paused, had a view of the people present there and ordered to pray together for a son for Safdar Hussain. Everybody prayed and he uttered Ameen. After one week of his departure Allah assured me of that good news through a medical test. (Sahib-e-Lolaak)
Mohammad Shah of Chak Tewana says that I am a disciple of Bahoo Jee Sarkar. I had a nephew who could not speak. I took him to Golarah Sharif several times but he was not recovered. Even that he became five years old. Suddenly Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali came to our village. I requested as thinking him the sacred issue of Haq Bahoo. As soon as he raised his eyes to the child, it was uttered, “Haq Bahoo” by his mute tongue and so his voice started. (Mirat-ul-Arifeen, Nov 2007)
Saad Ameer Khan Niazi (late) was the disciple of Sultan-ul-Auliya Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Abdul Aziz and has been accompanying him too. He ordered Niazi Sahib,” Niazi Sahib! First of all translate the book “Ain-ul-Faqr” of Hazoor Sultan Sahib”. Niazi Sahib replied, “Hazoor! I don’t know Persian.” He again said, “Niazi Sahib! Do start it (say Bismillah)”. In this way Niazi Sahib became such a translator of books of Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo that he transcends the great translators.
Haji Mohammad Nawaz (Talamba Mian Chanu) and Allama Anayat Ullah (Karhi Khaisur Dera Ismael Khan) are neither educated from any school nor got education by any scholar. Both of them got the knowledge of Quran and exegesis by his accomplished spiritual sight.

Visal /Death
From 28th February 2001, when Sultan-ul-Faqr Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali (R.A.) arrived at Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj, he became really ill and he started to travel to a lot of places in very short period of time. On 25th December 2003 around 2:30am Haji Mohammad Nawaz phoned me that my spiritual guide wants to talk to me, please call on so and so no. I immediately phoned on that number and Sultan-ul-Faqr also did not tell me anything about his illness rather he had been conversing about Ism-e-Allah Zaat. He granted me Ism-e-Mohammad (Sall’Allahu Alayhi Wa’alihi Wasallam) on 6th December 2003 at Mohsin Sultan’s place and also taught me the method of its contemplation. He ordered me to get such Ism-e-Mohammad (Sall’Allahu Alayhi Wa’alihi Wasallam) prepared in gold so to distribute them among the Seekers of Allah (Taliban-e-Maula). He said now it is assigned to you, protect Ism-e-Allah Zaat and Ism-e-Mohammad (Sall’Allahu Alayhi Wa’alihi Wasallam) and now it is your liability. I had no idea that it was our last conversation. Only after a little span of this conversation on 26th December 2003 (2nd Ziqa’ad 1424 H) on Friday at 5:07am the Noor of Sultan-ul-Faqr concealed from the world by manifesting itself into another guise (incarnation).

Funeral Prayer
The funeral prayer of the Sultan-ul-Faqr VI Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Asghar Ali was offered at the shrine of Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahoo on 26th December 2003 (3 Ziqa’ad 1424 H) at 9 pm.

Shrine
He (R.A.) was burried at the right side of his Murshid (towards the east) on 26th December 2003 (3 Ziqa’ad 1424 H). His shrine is situated on the right side of his Murshid Sultan-ul-Auliya Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Mohammad Abdul Aziz (R.A.).
